RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

CFD DESIGN OF BLOWER SYSTEMS

Since 2005 we use three dimensional Computational Fluid Dynamics simulations to design the blower systems equipping our sprayers.

 

This advanced design tool allowed us to develop blowers characterized by great airflow and low power absorption, having therefore excellent efficiency.

 

The airflow distribution is perfectly symmetric left and right side of the outlet section, ensuring maximum spraying efficiency also on the most distant vegetation.

HIGH EFFICIENCY BLOWER SYSTEMS

The CFD optimization of the airflow through the blower reduces the losses due to turbulence and therefore the working point of the fan moves to the highest airflow reaching maximum efficiency.

 

The selection of strong and light airfoil blade profile for the fan contributes to the overall best efficiency while maximizing the reliability.

HYDRAULIC SUSPENSION WITH ELECTRONIC CONTROL

Our hydraulic suspension system for axles grants the maximum comfort both on the field and on the road.

 

The hydraulic suspensions have an electronic control on the vertical position of the axles and work independently from the machine load.

 

This advanced suspension system, together with the efficiency of the blower system, allow to spray at high speed in all ground conditions along the orchard rows.

MOORING WINCH

The mooring winch equipping our crawler tool carrier keeps a constant pulling force on the cable independently from the machine speed, therefore granting the maximum safety of the operator and avoiding any soil erosion caused by the tracks.

 

The operator can adjust the pulling force of the winch in order to adapt to any working condition.

CAB PROTECTION CAT. 4

The cabs of our machines are designed to guarantee the maximum protection of the operator.

 

All our cabs satisfy the Category 4 requirement of European regulation on protection level.

 

The high efficiency ventilation system of the cab guarantees constant pressurization, adequate air exchange from the outside and is protected by the latest generation carbon filters.

ELECTRONIC CONTROL OF DRIVING SYSTEM

The driving software of our crawler machines, interfaced through joystick with the operator, has been designed to guarantee an extremely precise driving of the machines and has several operator assistance features:

  • Cruise control function, with button for saving the constant speed buth forward and backward
  • Selection of the counter rotation of tracks for steering
  •  Adjustment of the relative speed of the two chains in order to compensate slipping of the tracks on lateral slopes
  • Adjustment of the steering speed

The research activity and the field experience that we accumulated on our driving systems guarantee the maximum safety of the operator and easy driving in every working condition.
